The Deepening is an intensive, specifically designed to increase your mastery of spiritual expression in living, to assist you to engage with the principles of Being at a new level of responsibility, and to prepare you to increasingly offer leadership in your world.

The Deepening brings timeless principles and understanding squarely into this present era, with dramatic relevance and rich implications. Drawing upon previous Emissary class material, as well as current inspiration, we utilize presentations and tapes with discussion and expansion times throughout, attunement, experiential and ceremonial sessions—all to create an atmosphere to support intensified transformation, undertaken at the pace of each one’s spiritual compulsion. Fee: $1,150 US for the 10-day course fee, accommodation and meals. $100 discount for registrations received one month prior to the commencement of the course.
Partial scholarships may be available.
Sessions begin with 6 p.m. dinner on Thursday and conclude with lunch on the following Sunday.

The Development Team
David Lesser
David Lesser has been guiding people and organizations through crucial transitions for over twenty years. David is coach and confidant to people aspiring to the highest levels of personal growth, as well as to senior business executives in a variety of fields. He understands the marriage of executive and spiritual work. Formerly CEO of a $100M London-based real estate group and president of the Emissary trustees, he combines a strong management pedigree with perceptive facilitation skills, and clear insight in working with people.
Michael Gaeta
Michael Gaeta, MS, is an acupuncturist, nutritionist and herbalist who runs a successful wholistic center, with three locations in New York. He presents seminars nationally on practical spirituality, business success, clinical nutrition, medical ethics and Chinese medicine. Michael is also a pianist and composer; his passion is to give, love and serve through teaching, hands-on therapies and music.
Maureen Waller
Maureen Waller has a passion for connecting with people and, through that connection, to offer the gifts that she has received for close to thirty years now through the Emissary program. The joy of seeing people realize that they are in fact all leaders and that the discoveries are endless are reasons she does this work.
Barry Manderson
Barry Manderson has been associated with Emissaries of Divine Light for over thirty years. He is a graduate of the Emissary educational program and has also taken a number of courses sponsored by The Mankind Project, including the New Warrior Training and Warrior Monk. His personal mission statement is: “to passionately convene space for people to go deep and high in realizing and living their vision.”
Gail Dawson
Gail Dawson combines her work as a psychiatric and hospice nurse with running a spiritual center, where she offers journaling courses, labyrinth workshops and teaches Attunement (energy work). She is also an active member of the Woman Within network which engages in deep transformational work.
Susan Schmickle
As an adjunct to her day job as a professional software developer, Susan
Schmickle leads Emissary programs, teaches meditation, and facilitates
processes of transformation. She marries Eastern meditative and nondual
practices with Western modalities to make possible a range of form and
expression. Her current focus is to facilitate the transformation and
embodiment of spiritual development, both individually and collectively.
