Sunrise Ranch is a Spiritual Center offering conference and retreat services in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. By day the wide-open blue of the Colorado sky stretches overhead; and by night, there is an endless canopy of brilliant stars.
Since 1945, Sunrise has stewarded land and water as an organic ranch and farm. This natural setting—a valley surrounded by red sandstone and pine-covered hills—has been a place of tranquility, reflection and learning. Throughout Sunrise’s history, individuals and groups have come here to move to a different rhythm, to see their lives and their work with new eyes, and to bring fresh energy to their world.
Sunrise Ranch is known as a venue for learning, reflection, and transformation. There is wide variety of programs held here, offering time for deep stillness and relaxation, and inspired, leading-edge thought and experience.
Everything about Sunrise supports this work—the natural setting, wholesome food, and most of all, the resident staff. A Sanctuary-like Atmosphere
Sunrise Ranch could be described as a "stillness reserve." Although the rhythms of our work in gardening, community and conference service are part of daily life here, there is a certain "deep calm" that pervades everything. Take time to walk the many hiking trails or journal in one of the flower gardens.
Witness the intensification of hues on the Rim Rock at sunset or the first morning splash of sunlight on Green Ridge. Drink in deeply the nurturing beauty found in this vibrant valley. Rest by one of the reflection pools and reconnect with the source of renewal that is central to us all.
This valley has served as a source of inspiration for writers and musicians, visual artists and educators, psychologists and farmers, mathematicians and communitarians, bankers and laborers.
